Marketing Your Rental During Shoulder Season
Many vacation property owners are nervous about not generating income during the shoulder or "off seasons" as we call it locally. Typically this is the end of April through the start of June and October through December. Don't let this scare you. In our experience the 'off season' is becoming less and less of an off season. We have found that our units rent solid during these months. It is because we price accordingly and market our listings at this time towards groups looking to experience the Aspen area when the prices aren't so high.
Working with a private management company such as ourselves lends your listing to have premier placement. Large property management companies of condo/townhouses etc. typically have to pool their units and make sure the bookings are spread out evenly throughout the owners. We do not have to do so. This means your listing will appear at the top of AIRBNB and VRBO searches during shoulder season.
